MATTHEW ROSENBERG

Mr. Rosenberg founded RoseCap in 2010 with the goal of bringing high-quality investment management services to both institutional and retail clients.

Prior to founding RoseCap, Mr. Rosenberg was Managing Director with Jackson Oats Shaw Corporate Real Estate, a privately held real estate investment firm in Atlanta, GA, where he was involved in acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management. Mr. Rosenberg also previously served as Vice President/AE with General Electric’s Commercial Finance division. He started his career in investment banking, underwriting and syndicating leveraged loans and high yield bonds for Wachovia Securities in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Rosenberg received his Master’s degree in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas, at Austin, where he was also a member of the 2002 National Championship baseball team. Currently, Mr. Rosenberg serves on the board of directors for the GJ Community Hospital Foundation. He enjoys reading and competing in numerous sports, and has also served as a lecturer of finance at Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, CO.

TIM POLLARD

Tim Pollard has been active in western politics and policy for nearly 20 years. He is a Principal at EIS Solutions, a government relations and public affairs firm in Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado. Tim joined the firm in 2006 and has represented clients in the energy, mining, telecom, skiing, and healthcare industries, as well as managed multiple candidate and issue campaigns. In 2013, Tim led the historic and ultimately successful third-party recall efforts of two Colorado State Senators who had pushed legislation to curtail Coloradans’ Second Amendment rights.

Before joining the firm he spent seven years working for Colorado Governor Bill Owens at the Department of Natural Resources. As the Deputy Executive Director, Tim was responsible for complex political negotiations, developing and implementing policy solutions, and external communications. Pollard represented the Owens administration on the Wildlife Commission, Parks Board, Mined Land Reclamation Board, and on multiple national organizations and task forces.

Tim and his wife Kristi grew up in Western Colorado and are both graduates of Fruita Monument High School and Colorado Mesa University. Tim served two terms as Student Government President at CMU. During undergrad, Tim interned at Club 20, was an award-winning columnist for the college newspaper, The Criterion, and started a small business renting recreational equipment with his father.

Tim received his J.D. from the University Of Colorado School Of Law. In law school, Tim served as the Treasurer and later President of the Student Bar Association, and as an appellate court justice for the University of Colorado Student Union. He received the Sutcliffe Distinguished Service award for outstanding service to the law school community.

Tim and his wife Kristi have three young boys (Cameron-14, Cooper-11, Connor-5) and live in Grand Junction. The family enjoys spending summer days at Lake Powell, and mom and dad spend much of the rest of the year riding the pine at the boys’ football, basketball, and soccer games. Kristi is an avid runner and Tim enjoys tinkering with electronics.

SARA DONALDSON

Sara was born and raised in Grand Junction who graduated from Fruita Monument High School.  Sara then decided to press her luck in Las Vegas where she lived for sixteen years. She graduated from UNLV with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. She has a background in high-end luxury hotels/resorts in several different capacities including Assistant Food & Beverage Director for the Wynn/Encore properties. She has worked with many acclaimed chefs including Michael Mina, Paul Bartolotta, and Jet Tila.  She has successfully opened three hotels, two nightclubs, and ten restaurants.

Sara also consulted for the Silverton Hotel & Casino, an off-strip local property, where she revamped their entire F&B program. Sara and her family moved back to Grand Junction to take over ownership of Junct’n Square Pizza. Sara and her husband, Scott, have four young children (Julian-14, Joey-5, Jackie-3, Jacob-10mos). Sara enjoys running, keeping her family of six together, sports, and spending time with her children, friends, and family.

STEPHANIE MOTTER

Stephanie serves as Chief Executive Officer of Monument Health, the first clinically integrated network in Western Colorado. Monument Health brings accessible, appropriate, and more affordable healthcare to Mesa County. Stephanie previously served world-class kidney care organization, DaVita, in the role of Vice President of Quality & Clinical Strategy, leading national teams around quality measurement, pay for performance and value-based care programs, and clinical program design and implementation.

Stephanie received her undergraduate degree in economics from Smith College and a master’s degree from Yale University. Stephanie’s prior direct patient care experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner in the Denver and Boston areas allows her to contribute both in-depth and breadth to the population health work she leads. Stephanie resides in Grand Junction with her family where she enjoys the recreation of the mountains, skiing, and RV camping. She also supports the important work of the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra.

SUSAN ERB

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Susan attended Auburn University, graduating in 1988 with a BA in Mathematics. She worked for Merck Pharmaceuticals in Nashville, Tennessee for 8 years. Susan has been married to Roy Erb for almost 25 years and they have three children.

She and Roy moved to Grand Junction from Nashville in 2003. She served on the Mesa County Medical Society Alliance Board from 2004-2011, including a year as President and then as the liaison for the MCMSA to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Board. Susan is currently employed by Beautycounter as a Senior Manager. She also enjoys tennis, travel, hiking, and volunteering for local schools and non-profits.

JAKE AUBERT

Jake Aubert is the principal of Holy Family Catholic School in Grand Junction. Jake a long-time resident of Grand Junction has also taught at Grand Junction High School, prior to becoming the principal at Holy Family.

Jake earned his teaching degree from the University of Colorado in 1997 and earned a master’s in school administration and professional leadership from Regis University in 2010.

CHRISTOPHER T. ALLEN

Chris is the principal in charge of the accounting and auditing department and one of 6 board members of Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C. He is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor of science in accounting and has worked in the accounting profession for 20 years and holds licenses in both Colorado and California. He and his family have been in the Grand Valley since 2006. Chris enjoys serving on numerous boards and committees in our community including past president of the Grand Junction Lions Club, treasurer of the CASA of Mesa County Board of Directors, and Board Chair for the Community Hospital Foundation. He enjoys the outdoors camping, hunting and fishing and is an avid golfer.

KYRSTIE WOOTTEN

Kyrstie Wootten was born into a military home in Fort Worth, TX. Her father’s orders sent the family around the world and across the country until finally settling down in Colorado. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in finance from Colorado Mesa University.

Kyrstie now works for Merrill Lynch as a wealth management advisor. She was awarded her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in October of 2020 and aims to help police and fire navigate their financial futures and best protect their family’s interest.

When not at work, Kyrstie is managing life with her husband, Bryan, and their two kids, Izzy and Bennett. Bryan and Kyrst keep an active lifestyle. They enjoy the gym, pickle ball and Muay Thai, and look forward to family vacations at the beaches in North Carolina.

Kyrstie’s desire to be on the board of Back the Badge is deeply rooted by her dad and stepdad’s involvement with law enforcement after leaving the military, and her husband being a career firefighter. Being involved with a group of people who believe in supporting those that selflessly serve the community is a privilege she is thrilled to be a part of.
